The Origin-Destination Project II / Inter-media photography works by group 12E

The Year 12E Photography group created visual representations of the objects’ journeys. Each of the teams investigated and reconstructed a life of a different product. The first stage involved creating a series of images that would show the object’s migration seen from its own point of view. This part of work was followed by resolving the way of presentation of the pictures. The prints have been incorporated into objects and mixed with other media. The students’ works took shapes of: an installation reusing a lamp shade, a collage and a photo-book enriched with paintings and a poem.

A lamp shade transformed into a 'lightbox'. The found footage images have been printed on the acetate and attached to the lamp shade. The pictures show interiors as 'seen' by the lamp placed in many different rooms.
