Each “trip” is an art activity that is inspired by the Folkestone Triennial 2011 and contributes to the bigger project. Through the “art traveling” participants explore the past, the present and the future in the contexts of various journeys.
Million miles per second, minute, hour… – a series of art projects – involves research, observation, asking questions and experimenting with visual art techniques. The project focuses on how “unknown” meets “familiar” and “foreign” becomes “usual”. Through involvement in the project students explore the local but globally open, Kentish context.
